We're so glad to have Michael home again after his trip to New York last week. He was selected as one of 100 engineers from around the country invited to participate in the Frontiers of Engineering (FOE) symposium. You can read more about it here and see his info here. We're so proud of you Michael!
We always miss Mike while he's out of town but we tried to have fun here to keep our minds off of him being away. We ordered pizza one night for a school fundraiser and had a "sock party" (my way of making the kids excited to fold socks). We made a visit to Toys R Us for some returns and the kids choose to use their own money to buy a toy. Adam chose a hula-hoop and a small lego set and Anna chose a Play-doh cake making set. On Friday night we had a movie night and watched "Nanny McPhee" while eating ice cream bars.
One of my favorite activities for the week was watching season 3 of "Larkrise to Candelford" late at night. If you haven't heard of this series you should really check it out. I was introduced to it by in-laws and have fallen in love with the characters in the story. Here is the link to season one in case you are interested. You'll thank me later.
Here's our little Camille trying to stow away in Mike's suitcase.

Very cool, Well done Michael. Nikki, you must share the sock game!
I'm so glad you mentioned 'Lark Rise to Candleford' because Erin and Mom had both mentioned it to me and I kept forgetting the name! Thanks!
