On July 2nd we welcomed my newest niece into the world. She weighed 8lbs 6oz, was 21 1/4 inches long, and has a lot of hair! Can't wait to hold you Rhyss Alice Murray.
Camille learned to officially sit up on her own this week.
We said goodbye to some great friends moving to Mexico City for 3 years. We will miss the Richards! (Ok, so this one is not a happy report for us but it still happened this week.)
We harvested the last few bunches of strawberries from my garden.

Mike had Friday off so we went to our beach here in MN, Elm Creek Park Reserve.
On the 4th of July we had a pancake breakfast in the morning and then celebrated in style at Matt & Erin's house. I made this flag cake for the occasion. We also had fun on their homemade slip and slide, playing tennis (and wishing we could play like Federer and Roddick), setting off some fireworks, eating delicious ribs and enjoying excellent company.
Yesterday, my beautiful little sister celebrated her 19th birthday. Happy Birthday Jenna! I wish we could be there to celebrate with you.
