Happy Halloween

I'm trying to post this in between trick-or-treaters at the door. I just took these pictures of the kids about an hour ago before they headed off with Mike. This year Adam is Zorro and Anna is Little Red Riding Hood (or Little Riding Robin or Riding Riding Hood as she calls it). My little sister Jenna wore this cape when she was about the same age as Anna. I remember my brother Jeff was Zorro one year and was so cute. I went through my mom's old Halloween costumes last year but most of the Zorro costume was pretty tattered so we found this costume on ebay. I just love this time of year and dressing up the kids. I think it is at least as good if not better than when I was a kid with all the candy! I hope you all have a Happy Halloween!

Mike with his impromptu Zorro costume. Adam thought it was pretty cool to match Daddy.

We've been carving pumpkins the last two days. We carved six pumpkins this year. Adam assigned a pumpkin for each member of our family plus the baby. There was one left over so he said it was for the next baby in a year. Whoa, we'll have to see about that!

Fun costumes! The pumpkins all turned out great! How come you had so many? (just curious if you are super into pumpkins or what)

You guys are ambitious! The pumpkins turned out great though. You should teach a class or enrichment next year or something. They look pro. I love the costumes! I'm a fan of any costume that comes with a sword... definitely a must for our boys next year.
