Everything aligned the end of October to take a trip out to Utah. The kids had a few days off of school, we had some frequent flyer miles and companion passes for the airfare, my brother Matt & his wife Emily recently had a baby that we were able to see, my parents met us there from CA, my sister Jenna & her husband Brayden drove down from Idaho, we also had several friends come into town that we were able to arrange visits with. The last time we were out in Utah was almost 10 years ago so it was fun to reminisce about our schooling, dating, and early married life while we were there. It was a fabulous trip and we made so many great memories. I'll try to document some of it over the next few blog posts.
On Sunday morning we went to Temple Square and Adam & I were able to see Music and the Spoken Word by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It was wonderful and we ended up with great seats just 5 rows behind Mack Wilberg!
We met my parents there so as soon as the concert was over we found them in the Tabernacle.
After the concert we toured around Temple Square with my parents.

The boys inside the Assembly Hall. My grandfather gave his first talk in church at 12 years old over that pulpit.
We had Adam get up there to see what it was like.

We had a picnic lunch over looking the Temple. Jenna & Brayden met us there and we snapped a few more pictures of the temple.
