Allergies and Other Happenings

Allergies are in full force around here and unfortunately both Adam and Anna have been really affected.  Anna came home from watching Adam's baseball practice looking like this...
She was picking dandelions on the sidelines with Camille and must have gotten something in her eyes.  A little allergy meds and good night sleep cleared it up by the next morning.
Adam worked really hard and received his Wolf Badge and a Gold Arrow Point in Cub Scouts.  Here he is pinning on my mother's pin.
For family home evening recently we busted out our old Goliath poster and had fun pelting him with "rocks" (marshmallows).  My MIL made this several years ago for a seminary activity and it gets chosen for the activity every six months or so.  I think it has to do with eating the "rocks" in between throws.  David and Goliath has been a longtime favorite scripture story around here.
Camille has been learning to ride her bike.  She's now getting the hang of pedaling and steering on her own. Next year we'll try it without training wheels.
Adam's baseball season is in full swing with practices and games several nights a week.  His team is the Hornets and his uniform color is green this year.
Our final news is that we sold our car- a 1995 Camry.  We were hoping to have another car before it sold but it went pretty quickly so now we are down to one car.  Mike got a ride into work the first day and has now biked in 2 days in row.   Hopefully we'll find a car this weekend.  I'll keep you posted.
