A scripture a day til Christmas (revised)

Here is a little holiday tradition that we started with our kids several years ago that reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas. I included the references we use in case you'd like to try this with your own family. (I posted this last year and since then I have revised some of references that were incorrect.) Each night after reading the scripture the kids get to open a chocolate from their advent calendars. We don't have trouble remembering to read at our house!

Scriptures to read with your children each of the 24 days before Christmas:

  1. Abraham 3:22-28 (Jesus is foreordained to be our Savior)
