This past month Michael and Adam had a chance to go to a Twins game. Because our neighbor is a ticket broker they got a sweet deal on some premium tickets. They ended up being basically on the first row just outside the first base line! There were just a few drop down seats just to the side of them. They had to pay attention because fly balls from left-handed batters would come shooting at them. They weren't able to catch one of those but after the sth inning the Twins grounded out and the second baseman threw the ball into the stands on his way to the dugout and Adam got it! Latter that game our neighbor's nephew also got a ball. Since this is the last year at the Metrodome they were using special commemorative balls. They lost miserably but it was certainly fun and memorable none the less. We are a little worried that Adam will have a skewed sense of reality since most of us have been going to games our whole lives and have never sat that close let alone catch a ball. I guess it will be the upper deck for awhile.
