We have a winner!

This year for Pinewood Derby, Adam designed a lightning car and wanted to paint it green and yellow.  Yellow because of the lightning and green because it is his favorite color right now.  Adam and Mike made up a schedule of when to work on the car and they spent many hours down in the shop together.  I think they probably had more fun building it this year then in past years.  All of their time paid off as Adam won first place for our pack and tied for first with the 2 packs combined!  

 Mike also helped Anna make a car this year that she got to race after the official races were done.  Since Mike did a lot of the work on this car it was extremely fast and beat out all the other cars there including Adam's car.  She was pretty happy with her pink and black lightning car.
