We celebrated Adam's 9th birthday with an outdoor water party. We passed out invitations that said come make a splash at Adam's 9th birthday party and made sure everyone knew to bring swimming suits. The morning of the party we set up several stations around the yard including games like Dry, Dry, Wet (duck, duck, goose with a cup of water being dumped on "wet"), tug of war with a soaker hose, a leaky cup relay, Angry Birds water balloon launching, water balloon toss, squirt gun pinatas, and a super long homemade slip-n-slide. We served lunch and instead of cake we had make your own ice cream sandwiches. It turned out to be a hot day so it was the perfect party and all the boys loved it, especially the birthday boy.

Anna got to participate in most of the games too and did really well with all those boys.
Adam next to our Angry Birds water balloon launch. They stood at the top of the hill and worked in teams of 3 to launch water balloons at the laminated pigs.
Make your own ice cream sandwiches- 2 kinds of cookies, 3 ice cream choices, and 2 coating choices. The boys loved this.
Candles were tricky on an ice cream sandwich.

What little boy wouldn't love a party like that! Awesome! So creative and active. Great team work to pull that off mom and dad.
