Pinewood Derby 2012

Adam participated in is 2nd Pinewood Derby in Cub Scouts. After last year of placing first overall the pressure was on. This year Adam wanted a fast and cool car. They choose a fast design and made it look like a Mario Kart from his favorite Wii game (Toad's car if I remember right). All the Cub Scouts liked it and would chant "Mario, Mario," during each race. It definitely was a cool car and ended up 1st in his age group! He didn't place in the top three this year but sure loved the time making it with his Dad. Great job Adam (and Mike)!

1/09 Anna referring to Camille: "Mom, how long are we going to keep her?"

1/09 We just finished moving Anna into Adam's room to make room for Camille. Adam: "When we have another baby after this one, we can sleep in a tent!" I guess he was thinking there are no more beds left so he'd have to give his up.
