We took one last camping trip for the summer and headed up to Lake Mille Lacs. Unfortunately I was still pretty sick and ended up completely losing my voice on the trip. It was a little strange not being able to talk but also a nice break as Mike had to answer to all the kids. We ended up seeing the famous albino deer, caught some fish, and enjoyed the stars at night. We also visited some friends at their cabin and they graciously offered to have us spend a night there. It was a welcomed break from the bugs and dirt. We are used to mosquitoes here in Minnesota- but there were a lot of mosquitoes! As Adam put it, "The mosquitoes had my arms for dinner and my legs for dessert!"

Wow Niki that is impressive taking all those kids camping, especially while you're sick!! Looks like fun!
I know! (To Emily's comment.) Even with as busy as you are with work, school, home and church you find time for fun outings. You are both such hardworking people and make a great team raising a family.
I love the pictures of you and Camille! SOO cute! She is getting so big! Can't wait to see all of them at Christmas and then... my wedding!! :)
