Fancy Hair

Thanks to daylight saving time we had an extra hour before church last week. We decided to try out a fancy new do we saw on one of our favorite hair blogs. It took about 35 minutes including curls but I think we could do it faster next time since this was our first attempt.

Steps for fancy hair:

1. Begin by sectioning off the top of the hair into three sections

2. French braid the back two sections to the side and tie off with a rubber bands

3. Add in the front section smoothed over and tied off into the middle rubber band

4. Use some ribbon to lace the two back braids together (there's a little learning curve here and I'm sure we could improve for next time)

5. Finally add some curls around the back.

I think it turned out super cute don't you?

Oh, and BTW the braids held up great the next day and she was able to wear this to school. So even though it takes some time the first day you have a cute style the next day with no work!
