Mike's department at work took second prize in a competition to see how many patents or potential patents they could submit. The winners got box tickets to a Twins game but since his group still did really well they got the consolation prize of box tickets to a Timberwolves game. We had a fun night out away from the kiddos.
I'm always surprised when I head downtown on a weeknight and see so much going on. My weeknights are so predictable; it's fun to get out now and again.
Oh and BTW Mike now has 1 official patent, 4 patents that have been filed, and 3 more that have been approved for filing. Isn't that cool?

That is great! Congrats to you guys! Mike's grandpa was an engineer and by the end of his life he had sooo many patents- and yes, that's a cool accomplishment!
