85 Degrees and Fall Fun

We have been enjoying a true Indian Summer here in Minnesota with temperatures in the 80's just a few weeks after a frost! The kiddos had Friday off of school so we took advantage of the weather and visited Apple Jack's Orchard. We enjoyed some tasty apple treats, went on a hayride, saw some animals (Camille got her finger pecked by a turkey and is still talking about it), and played in the leaves for at least an hour.

On Saturday my SIL Erin suggested we go to a local corn maze for more outdoor fun. The maze was in the shape of the Twin's logo. We gathered several clues having to do with the MN Twins in hopes of winning season tickets to the Twins. Mike used Erin's blackberry to correctly match the players and enter us into the drawing. Mr. Numbers Mike gives us a 1 in 500 chance of winning. It could happen right?

What a beautiful October weekend!

Looks like it was a lot of fun. Camille is even cooperating for pictures now. Yea! Too bad I didn't plan a Fall trip this year in lieu of another baby trip during the winter. BRRRR! :)
