We had so much fun at our family reunion two weeks ago! We stayed at the Campfire Bay Resort on Fish Trap Lake and it was the perfect setting for our reunion. Mike and I are already trying to figure out when we can go back. Here is the first round of pictures from our trip...
Being silly with Annabelle
Decorating our sand buckets and water bottles we used for the week
I bought paint pens to decorate them and unfortunately one of the brands didn't stay on very well. Next time I'd just use colored Sharpies.
Mike and his Dad
Cousins with gummy worms
Calvin and Annabelle
Camille and Grandma
Grandma & Grandpa brought rain-gutter Regatta boats for each of the kids to make. Every night they'd work on another step and he would tell a scripture story so go along with the steps. I can't remember all the stories he told but a few were: Jonah & the Whale, Jesus Calming the Waters, Fishers of Men with the casting of the nets, Nephi building a boat and crossing the ocean, Jesus Walking on Water...
Larry really brings the scriptures to life with his stories. On the last night we had a competition with an inflatable rain-gutter. Pictures coming soon.
Anna practicing her cartwheels
One day the kids made bottle rockets and shot them off in a competition. Carter took 2nd place. Here's Adam with his rocket.
Lift off
We rented a pontoon a few days, and a ski boat and jet ski for a day. Calvin loved the boat so much and would sit perfectly still for long periods of time on it (not a common occurrence for him).
Miss Ellie on the boat
Grandpa & Grandma
Anna loved playing with cousin Rachel
At the beginning of the week we drew names to have secret pals and do acts of service throughout the week. Camille had Carter and loved making him cards and sneaking into his room to make his bed and leave little presents.
Mike & his Mom- so who does he look more like his mom or dad?
Anna with Rachel again
The youngest Gray (at least until Jonelle has her twin girls in September).
One day the boys went golfing in the morning and then the girls went out to lunch and shopping in Nisswa at some fun shops.
